If thou couldst but see [them] when they will be made to stand before the fire and will say, "Oh, would that we were brought back [to life]: then we would not give the lie to our Sustainer's messages, but would be among the believers!"
If thou couldst see when they are set before the Fire and say: Oh, would that we might return! Then would we not deny the revelations of our Lord but we would be of the believers
If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"
And could you see when they are made to stand before the fire, then they shall say: Would that we were sent back, and we would not reject the communications of our Lord and we would be of the believers
If you could only see when they are set before the Fire. They will say, If only we could be sent back. Then we would not deny the signs of our Lord and we would be of the believers
And if thou wouldst see when they would be stationed by the fire, they will say: Would that we be returned to life. Then, we would not deny the signs of our Lord and we would be among the ones who believe.
If you could see when they are set before the Fire and say: "Alas, if we might only be sent back and had not rejected our Lord´s signs, and we had been believers!"
If only you could see when they will be detained before the Fire! They will cry, “Oh! If only we could be sent back, we would never deny the signs of our Lord and we would ˹surely˺ be of the believers.”
If you could only see them when they will have to stand before the fire and say, "If only we were brought back, we would not reject the revelations of our Lord, but would be among the believers."
If you could see when they will be held over the fire! They will say: “We wish we were sent back (to the world), then we would not deny the Verse of our Lord, and we would be among the believers!”
If thou couldst see when they are arraigned before the Fire, whereupon they will say, “Would that we were sent back! Then we would not deny the signs of our Lord, but we would be among the believers!
And if you could see when they are standing over the Fire, they Say: "If only we could be sent back, we would not deny the revelations of our Lord, and we would be believers!"
If you could only see, when they are made to stand before the Fire, how they will say, ‘If only we could be sent back, we would not reject the revelations of our Lord, but be among the believers.&rsquo
And couldst thou see what time they shall be held over the Fire, and then they will say: would that we were sent back and now we shall not belie the signs of our Lord and we shall be of the believers
If you should see them when they are stood before the Fire, they will say: "Ah would that we were sent back (to the world)! We shall not deny the signs of our Lord, and be among those who believe."
If only you could see when they are standing before the Fire and saying, ´Oh! If only we could be sent back again, we would not deny the Signs of our Lord and we would be among the muminun.´
If you (O Messenger) could see them when they are made to stand by the Fire, and (in dread of being thrown into it, as if they forgot that they denied their associating partners with God) they say: "Oh, would that we were brought back (to the world)! Then we would not deny the signs and Revelations of our Lord and would be among the believers!"
Were you to see when they are brought to a halt by the Fire, whereupon they will say, ‘If only we were sent back [into the world]! Then we will not deny the signs of our Lord, and we will be among the faithful!&rsquo
But could you but see when they are set over the Fire and say, "Would that we were sent back! We would not then deny our Lord´s revelations, but we would be of the believers?"
And if you could see (them) as they are made to stand against the Fire, so they say, "Oh, would that we might be turned back, and (then) we would not cry lies to the signs of our Lord, and we would be among the believers!"
If only you could see them standing in the fire saying, "Would that we could return to the worldly life. We would never reject any of our Lord's revelations and we would be true believers."
If only you could (be there to) see when they will be made to stand by the Fire, and they will say, .Would that we were sent back, then we would not reject the signs of our Lord, and would join the believers
If only you could see them when they face the Fire! They will say, " We wish we could go back and never reject our Lord's Revelations, and be among the believers."
If you could only see when they are faced with the Fire! They will say: "If only we were sent back! Then we would not reject the Signs of our Lord, but would be among those who believe!"
If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."
If you could witness the scene, when they will be made to stand before the hellfire, they will say: "We wish we could return to earthly life again; then we would not deny the revelations of our Lord, and we would join the believers!"

If only you could visualize their change of mind when they are confined into the slavish imprisonment of Hell! They shall wish they could be sent back to life below and they would never deny Allah's revelations and signs, and they would be among those who conform to Allah's will
And if you could only see them when they would be made to stand before the fire, then they would say, "We wish, we were sent back, (then) we will not deny the signs of our Fosterer and we will be of the believers."
